Score Academy (SA) is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct in all educational and business operations. Our reputation for integrity and excellence depends upon strict adherence to applicable laws, professional standards, and the principles outlined below.
These Standards are adapted from the Code of Ethics of the Education Profession in Florida, the Principles of Professional Conduct for the Education Profession in Florida, and the Code of Ethics for Educators of the Association of American Educators.
The continued success of SA depends upon the trust of our students, parents, colleagues, and community. Every employee has a duty to act in a manner that preserves that trust.

Employees must recognize that their public conduct and expression may impact SA’s reputation and working relationships. Conduct that materially damages SA’s professional environment or public perception may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
All instructional personnel, educational support staff, and administrators are required, as a condition of employment, to complete training on these Standards of Ethical Conduct.
All employees have an affirmative obligation to report misconduct by instructional personnel or administrators that affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.

Reports involving administrators must be directed to one of the owners listed above.
Legally sufficient allegations involving Florida-certified educators will be reported to the Office of Professional Practices Services in accordance with Florida law.
Failure to report required misconduct may result in disciplinary action.
All SA employees and agents have an affirmative legal duty to report actual or suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

Patterns of physical or behavioral indicators may signal abuse and must be reported. Good-faith reporters are protected from civil or criminal liability under Florida Statutes §39.203.

Employers disclosing employment information in good faith to prospective employers are likewise protected from civil liability unless knowingly false information is disclosed.
